Welcome

WELCOME to our Parish website!  St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Parish is a community of faith that is known to include everyone – we are a FAMILY.  It is God Himself who draws us together.  Jesus is clearly felt here in this house of prayer and He is easily identified in the faces of our members.  The Holy Spirit is very much alive and at work in our community.

Whether you are a long-standing member of the parish, newly moved into Grimsby or surrounding area, or perhaps are just visiting this site – know that you are loved by God and are special in His eyes.  On behalf of myself, as Pastor, and the many parishioners that make up the parish family – be assured that you can find a spiritual home here at St. Joseph’s.  Please join us as we worship our amazing God!

Fr. Rico

PLEASE NOTE – This is current as of September 22th

The parish remains open adhering to the current COVID-19 health guidelines in which masks are required to attend Mass in person, the sanitization of hands, and social distancing practices must be followed.

If you would like to attend Mass here at St. Joseph, you MUST still register using our Eventbrite site.  Please do not just walk into Mass – kindly register through the site to ease the process of contact tracing.

As per Bishop Bergie’s directive, for the protection of the Pastoral Team – the office is currently closed for in person drop ins, however the Pastoral Team continues to work during office hours – answering the phones and emails.

Thank you in advance.

You are most welcome to join us for Mass daily through our Livestream – through our parish Facebook account and Parish YouTube channel.

God bless – Fr. Rico

A note on residential schools

On our path towards Truth and Reconciliation as both a church and a country, we acknowledge that there are more questions than answers at this time especially in the midst of discoveries of unmarked graves being found regularly. The Archdiocese of Toronto has compiled many statements, articles and resources from both religious and secular sources. While nothing can take away from the horrors that were experienced, we hope these resources are a starting place for your own understanding. The landing page can be found here.
